Parkinson No Limits in Fuerteventura

FuerteVida Parkinson No Limits is a non profit organisation dedicated to promoting physical activity, adventure, and empowerment for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.

The founders of this organisation, Francesca and Loris, moved from Milan, Italy, to Fuerteventura in 2019, after falling in love with the island's stunning beaches. Francesca's personal experience with her father, who had Parkinson's disease, led to the creation of this association that caters both for the local residents of Fuerteventura, and organises tailored holidays for tourists.

FuerteVida can organise a full holiday for individuals, families and small groups that would like to live a trasformative experience: their activities include psychological support, art therapy (did you know you could paint in the water?), sports such as adaptive surf and contactless boxe, and many more activities, tailored on the group or individual.

Francesca and Loris have an introductory online call with each person interested in coming to Fuerteventura, and create the perfect program - not only to relax or have a break from daily routine, but also to learn new ways of living with Parkinson's once back home.

The holidays organised by FuerteVida are tailored on the needs of the person or group and include a therapeutic plan, activities, transport and accommodation: more specifically the accommodation is selected based on the needs and preferences of the travellers, and everything is ensured so that the persons travelling have the best experience.

The holidays are available throughout the year, with seasonal programs tailored to different sports - and depending on the weather conditions.
